Who we are

Tainted Ground is made by Del Cerro Games, the controller of any data this site handles. For anything about your data, write to [email protected].

What we measure

We count visits with Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool. It sets no cookies and doesn’t store your IP address. It records the page you viewed, the site that sent you, your browser, device type and country, and clicks on buttons like Wishlist, so we can see which parts of the page work. None of this tells us who you are.

We do this on the basis of our legitimate interest in knowing how the site is used (article 6.1.f GDPR).

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web server, it has to process your IP address to deliver the pages and protect the site from attacks. We don’t use it to identify you.

Everything the page loads, including fonts, images and video, comes from this site itself. The only outside script is Umami’s.

Links to other sites

Links to Steam, Discord, YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X and our press kit on Google Drive take you to services with their own privacy policies.

Newsletter

We don’t run one right now and this site doesn’t ask for your email. If we start one, we’ll update this page before collecting a single address.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask what data we hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted, or object to how it’s used. Write to [email protected]. Since we don’t keep anything that identifies you, there will usually be nothing to find, but we’ll always answer.

If something isn’t right, write to us first and we’ll sort it out. You also have the right to complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
